Who is the 18th Vermont Regiment ?

Left - Right   Former trustees Euclid,  and Priscilla Farnham,  and Russ  and  Sue Slora

The 18th Vermont Regiment is a small volunteer group organized exclusively for the educational and charitable purposes of historic preservation. Those purposes include raising funds for the preservation of Civil War battlefields where Vermonters fought, the identification and preservation of historical collections, and conducting educational programs to promote and protect Vermont’s rich Civil War heritage.

The group contains members from all different walks of life and new members are welcome. Although many of our members are reenactors and many dress in period clothing, it is not required to be a member of the group.

The 18th VT Regiment has distributed over $70,000 to battlefield, and flag preservation over the past twelve years.
